How many of you have been having thoughts of just building a simple living structure and living off the land with no crazy unnecessary objects of desire created by people not from this green planet? Raise your hand. Wow that’s a lot of people. I just came across this book called HomeWork by Lloyd Kahn. I met Lloyd and we shared our off the grid stories and ideas, his house is the first two pages of the book. He is a true no nonsense guy. I told him that I’m going to write about the book so I’m going to email him some questions. He just grumbled and said don’t make them to long! Just take the book.
There are mud and straw houses, earth bag and papercrete houses, floating houses, houses with wheels, Yurts, domes, teepees from all around the world.
