When I was dreaming up my green business, I of course wanted to educate and encourage people to go solar and I found my biggest obstacle about it has been the expense and the scale.  As a small business I wondered: How am I going to sell it?  Can I afford to stock it?  How can I help people to make that transition?   It seemed that if you wanted to go solar you would need a lot of capital to do so, and so many people never take that step.  Some of those obstacles still exist, although they are getting smaller day by day, but for right now my simple greenfinds solution is to introduce solar energy to consumers in a small way, so that they can experience first hand the joy of being fully functional and unplugged, i.e. unpolluting.  This is what happened to me with the Solio portable hybrid solar charger-I was running around the Green Festival like a kid showing everyone how my Solio was charging my Blackberry!  These chargers are compact and lightweight, opening and closing like a fan. They come with a windshield mount- I have my Solio in the windshield of our Airstream Westfalia charging up my Blackberry right now!  And the icing on the cake is that Solio even offsets any carbon dioxide produced in the manufacturing of this wonderful product by planting sustainable and bio-diverse forests with www.futureforests.com.  Three cheers! So go to solio.com and take a step toward solar.
