Add one more designer label to your closet, you fashion fiends and environmentalists.
Passenger Pigeon is a clothing line whose products are made strictly from all-natural textiles. Founder and designer Heather Schibli started the line shortly after her graduation from the Ontario College of Art and Design. Her vision – as seen in the name – has always been to create beautiful clothing from environmentally responsible business practices.
But how does the label hint at her passion? Once numbering billions in the 1600s, the passenger pigeon is now extinct. What better name is there to serve as a reminder that the safe manufacturing of natural materials will produce healthier surroundings?
